There's nothing like the PNW in the summer, so we like to take advantage of the beauty that surrounds us whenever we can. We took a little trip to Lummi Island earlier this week to pre-celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. Yep, that's right 15! And it wouldn't be a celebration without road testing a couple of our favorite new pieces in the process. So we hopped on the ferry from Bellingham, did some fun stuff, relaxed, watched the water and ate delicious food - all with the TM1985 Weekender Duffel and new indigos from Taylor Stitch in tow.
Here's a taste of the trip through our lens.
Brooklyn born, TM1985, is one of the latest brands to stock our shelves. All their bags and leather goods are handmade in New York of high quality leather, canvas and select vintage hardware. We had the pleasure of meeting founder, Tielor McBride, at NY Capsule a couple weeks back and had been following their brand for awhile, but after seeing them in person we knew these bags were legit and had to have some for the shop! Inspired by the army surplus spirit of practicality and durability, but refined for civilian life, their pieces make the perfect travel companions. This Duffel Weekender held all our gear and then some, plenty of room for shoes, a few clothing changes, toiletries and we found the six exterior pockets super handy for all those frequently accessed items. Hands down this bag is a weekend winner in our book!
Summer is slowly slipping away...come see us and capture the goods while they are still here! Cheers - H+A
