Born out of the great millinery tradition of New York City, Brookes Boswell Millinery was founded in 2009. The studio produces hats and accessories that mix functional detailing with a classic aesthetic. Each piece is meticulously crafted and all items are individually constructed and made with only high quality materials.
In addition to made-to-measure and custom, the studio also offers vintage one-of-a-kind finds, which happen to be some our favorite pieces. Vintage hats are refurbished in Boswell's Brooklyn studio. The hats are cleaned, steamed, re-blocked, have a new sweatband sewn in and sometimes given new trim. The goal is to give them a new life while also keeping their essential character. You may notice some stains or imperfect shapes but these minor flaws add to the charm of wearing a vintage hat.
Brookes Boswell Vintage hats are one of a kind and and not returnable, though they can be exchanged for store credit. Please contact us with any questions before purchase and in the event that an exchange is necessary.
