Kiriko's Asanoha necktie takes the classic Japanese Asanoha Mon, a continuing tiled pattern composed of six rhombus representing a hemp leaf, and made it into a handsome necktie for spring/summer. Hemp and other natural motifs often made their way into textile designs in pre-industrial Japan and we dig how Kiriko has taken heritage and reinterpreted it into modern wearable accessories.
