Kiriko's Kase-Zome line uses fabric that is hand-dyed in Japan using all natural dyes. A stunner color combination of mustard yellow and deep blue make up this new wardrobe essential.
Kase-zome uses a dyeing technique where the threads are dyed before the fabric is woven. In order to achieve the desirable color in the thread, craftsman submerge the threads in dye tanks by hand. Then remove the threads and naturally dye them in the sun. The process is repeated multiple times until the color is just right. The craftsmanship can be felt the moment it touches your neck.
