Engineered to original Swiss military specifications, this Everyday Tote is crafted of extremely durable material woven from flax and nettle fibers instead of cotton (a wartime consideration) and is coated with Durable Water Repellant, aka DWR, to protect against the elements. This is the first time Salt & Pepper canvas is available since it was discontinued by the Swiss military in the 1970's and Tanner Goods is the first to offer it within the United States. Constructed from a stout combination of Salt & Pepper canvas and Cambara English bridle leather; all components are secured by solid brass rivets and four button studs.
